About Kundu
Kundu is a purpose-built resort zone east of Lara made up almost entirely of large themed hotels. Replicas of the Kremlin, Topkapı Palace, Venice and the Titanic give it an architectural character found almost nowhere else. With its closeness to the airport, wide sandy beach and in-house aquaparks, it is designed above all for families and group holidays.

Places to Visit
Kundu itself is a place to stay rather than to sightsee, but the highlights are all close by. Perge, Aspendos, the Kurşunlu Waterfall and The Land of Legends theme park are comfortable half-day trips, and the city centre with Kaleiçi is 25-30 minutes away.
Beaches and Sea
The shore continues the fine sand of Lara Beach and is notably wide. Most hotels have their own beach and jetty, and many hold a Blue Flag. The sea enters gently, which is exactly why families with small children choose the area.
Activities and Tours
The activity model here is largely in-house: aquaparks, kids' clubs, animation teams and evening shows. Outside the resorts there are water sports, boat trips, diving, jeep safaris and Köprülü Canyon rafting, while the Belek golf courses are 20-30 minutes away.
Where to Stay, Eat and Shop
Almost all accommodation is five-star, all-inclusive and themed, and the area is also popular for conferences and corporate events. Dining happens mostly inside the hotels, in buffet and à la carte restaurants. There is little independent shopping, so guests head to TerraCity in Lara.
When to Visit
May to October is the swimming season. Late May to early June and September to early October offer the best value and comfort, as crowds thin outside the school holidays.
